As Israel marks the day of the passing of Rabbi Avraham Yitzchak Kook, the country's first Chief Rabbi and iconic religious Zionist leader, thousands visited his grave on the Mount of Olives and lecture series were held in his home off Jaffa Road and in the restored Hurvah Synagogue in the Old City of Jerusalem.

Arutz Sheva brings a special video that details the revered rabbi's incredibly prolific life of daring vision, piety, action, scholarship, poetry, philosophy, written works and world-renowned courageous leadership.
