Two leading Jewish Defense League members, including the organization\'s chairman, have been charged with plotting to bomb a Los Angeles mosque and the office of a congressman of Middle Eastern descent. Irving David Rubin, 56, and Earl Leslie Krugel, 59, face federal conspiracy and explosives charges, and if convicted, they could serve more than 30 years in prison. They are accused of targeting the King Fahd mosque, a lavish, $8.1 million landmark financed entirely by the Saudi Arabian royal family, as well as the office of Representative Darrell Issa, a California Republican whose grandfather was Lebanese.
