An explosive device was set off Thursday morning against an IDF tank that was in motion near the Gaza security fence. One soldier from the tank’s crew was lightly hurt from shrapnel that hit his face.
The soldier was evacuated for treatment at Soroka Medical Center in Be’er Sheva.
Arab sources in Gaza reported that three IDF bulldozers entered Gaza near Khan Yunis, accompanied by five tanks.
On Tuesday, an IAF aircraft attacked a terrorist squad in central Gaza as it prepared to fire rockets at Israeli civilians. Two terrorists were killed.
Shortly afterward, Hamas opened fire on a civilian vehicle in IDF service that was carrying out routine maintenance near the security fence in southern Gaza. The driver was lightly hurt.
