The Committee to Bring Jonathan Home is planning a \"Freedom for Jonathan Pollard Shabbat\" three days from now, when the Biblical story of Joseph\'s release from the Egyptian dungeon is studied and read aloud in synagogues throughout the world. Rabbis of communities around the world are asked to dedicate their sermons this week to the subject of Jonathan Pollard and the supreme priority given in Jewish tradition to the issue of Redeeming Captives. Pollard, who is ill, asks that special prayers be recited on his behalf; his Hebrew name is Yehonatan ben Malka.
