Former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak will face charges of incitement in connection with the killing of protesters during the “Arab Spring” revolution that ended his 31-year reign in early February.

According to a report on Voice of Israel government radio that quoted Egyptian legal sources, Mubarak will also face other charges.

The former presidents will be indicted for cutting off satellite, Internet and other communications during the revolution against his government.

Mubarak had been hospitalized for a heart attack that he suffered under interrogation by investigators after he was taken into custody at his residence in Sharm el-Sheikh.

The former president's wife Suzanne was hospitalized a week ago with chest pains after she was informed that she, too, would be questioned by investigators. On Monday, however, Egypt's Health Minister announced that Mrs. Mubarak's condition was stable and that she could be discharged from the hospital.
