A woman in her mid-forties was murdered in the Tzippori Industrial Zone in Gilboa, Magen Dovid Adom (MDA) reported. The woman was a worker in a nearby factory.
The MDA team who responded found the woman unconscious, having been stabbed in the torso. Medics attempted to ressucitate the woman while racing her to Puria Hospital in Tiberias, but declared her dead en route.
Police say they suspect a forty-year old male, a resident of the town of Afula, who works in the same factory as the victim. The man fled the scene. A manhunt is underway.
Investigators at the scene are developing background and looking into the relationship, if any, between the man and his victim. It is not yet known if the murder is terror related or a criminal act.
