New York State Governor George Pataki, New York City Mayor Rudolph Giuliani and NYC Mayor-Elect Michael Bloomberg are arriving in Israel this morning for a one-day solidarity visit. They will tour the capital with Jerusalem Mayor Ehud Olmert, including stops at the Western Wall, the Sbarro Restaurant, the southern neighborhood of Gilo, and Shaarei Tzedek Medical Center. The visiting officials will meet with President Moshe Katzav, Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, and Foreign Minister Shimon Peres. Mayor Giuliani will light candles in honor of the beginning of Chanukah at a ceremony tonight at Zion Square in downtown Jerusalem.
