Chanukah-items are selling well, in general, and at about the same pace as last year. Although the sale of plastic dreidels filled with candies and chocolate coins is down a steep 80%, a new item, chocolate dreidels, is well in demand. A New York businessman ordered 12,000 dreidels from Israel this week. U.S. President George Bush and his wife Laura will light Chanukah candles on Monday night in the White House, together with a group of American-Jewish leaders.
