The main road leading out of Gush Katif to the rest of Israel was closed last night for several hours, as the army and police dismantled a civilian outpost at the site of the murder of Ettie Fahima. The 45-year-old mother of four from Netzer Hazani in Gush Katif was murdered last week near Kfar Darom when a terrorist opened fire at several Israeli vehicles. The residents insist that the construction of an overpass there enabled the terrorist to crawl undetected to the otherwise-well protected site, and demand that plans to put up the bridge be stopped. Many of them struggled with soldiers during the evacuation, and some even chained themselves to the caravans and tried to bodily block the bulldozers. Ten were arrested. Many residents were unable to arrive at a memorial ceremony being held last night for yet another terrorist victim, Roni Tzalah of Kfar Yam. Prime Minister Sharon was in the area yesterday, but did not meet with the residents.
