Two members of Israel\'s security forces were seriously wounded in separate incidents yesterday. The soldier who was critically wounded in the head by sniper fire outside Kadim in northern Shomron has shown a slight improvement, and is listed in very serious but stable condition in Haifa\'s Rambam Medical Center. Border Guard policeman Walid Russo of the village of Reihania is also listed in serious condition in a Hadera hospital, after he was wounded by gunfire in his chest and shoulder near Moshav Sha\'ar Ephraim. The location of the attack: east of Netanya, between the PA-controlled city of Tul Karem and the Israeli-Arab town of Taibe. In an hour-long shootout after the attack, one terrorist was killed and a second escaped.
In Kfar Sava, Samuel Mishevsky, 45, was laid to rest this afternoon. He was the third victim of the Nazareth-Tel Aviv bus bombing this past Thursday night. Prof. Baruch Zinger, murdered by terrorists in northern Gaza yesterday morning, was buried in Gedera today.
