Arab rock-throwers in the Palestinian Authority attacked an Israeli car south of Hevron, sending a baby to the hospital.

The incident occurred early Tuesday afternoon near the Jewish town of Karmei Tzur. The baby was first treated on the scene by IDF soldiers, and then evacuated to a Jerusalem hospital. IDF forces combed the area, looking for the attackers.

The silent, ongoing war against Palestinian  terrorism – which security experts repeatedly emphasize takes place only by virtue of the IDF's ability to operate freely in Judea and Samaria – continued quietly again last night. The forces arrested five wanted terrorists in various areas: Two were apprehended in Hizme, just north of Jerusalem; another two were arrested in Jaba, east of Ramallah; in Tamun in the Shomron, a fifth wanted terrorist was arrested. All were taken for questioning.

This past Saturday night, dozens of Arabs chose to mark the Muslim month of Ramadan by attacking a Jewish man at the traditional gravesite of Samuel the Prophet (Shmuel HaNavi), between Ramot and Givat Ze'ev, north of Jerusalem. He received treatment in a Jerusalem hospital.

Among holy sites in Judea and Samaria, Shmuel's grave has remained particularly quiet despite Moslem provocations elsewhere. A kollel – yeshiva for married men – operates there during the day, and members say that increased Jewish presence and visits there will make it even safer than it already is.
