MK Avigdor Lieberman, Minister of Foreign Affairs, arrived Monday afternoon at the Ben Gurion airport together with Rafael Hadad, the Israeli who was released from the Libyan prison in a top-secret diplomatic operation.

Lieberman thanked a number of governmental and private parties who were part of the successful effort to release the Israeli from the Libyan prison - Rafael for his behavior throughout the negotiations, the Israeli media and others who kept the story confidential, the official and governmental authorities who helped reach an end to the story, and the Libyans who "made clear and sufficient demands which we will carry out". Regarding the demands, Lieberman did not expose the details but stated that he will "respect" demands relating to the "Palestinian issue".

Hadad, although brought by the Foreign Ministry officials to a press conference, refrained from talking to disppointed media except to say only "thank you all for coming to greet me."
