An explosion rocked the home of senior Hamas terrorist Ala a-Nadaf early on Monday morning. The blast led to the building's collapse.
According to reports from Gaza, at least 24 people, and possibly more than 30, were wounded in the incident. There are rumors that several people were killed.
There was no word on whether a-Nadaf was among the casualties.
Hamas sources accused the Israel Air Force of having bombed the building. However, the IDF has denied any connection to the blast, and said IAF planes did not carry out any operations in Gaza overnight.
Yesterday the IAF attacked smuggling tunnels in Gaza in response to a rocket attack that damaged a building used for physical therapy.
