Eldad Cohen of Shilo miraculously survived a terrorist shooting attack last night. His car was riddled with at least 11 bullet holes, and several of the bullets entered the car, but Eldad - father of four - was unhurt. The attack occurred late last night as Cohen was traveling on the Aboud bypass road between Petach Tikvah and N\'vei Tzuf. Security officials who assessed the damage to the vehicle acknowledged that he is most fortunate to be alive and uninjured.



Another attempted terrorist attack last night, this one in the coastal city of Herzliya, also ended without physical injuries to its intended victims. Only one woman was treated for hysteria, following the explosion of a bomb placed under a car outside a restaurant. Police say the bomb was most likely placed by Palestinian terrorists.



Other Palestinian attacks last night: Two passengers aboard an Egged commuter bus were lightly hurt when the bus was attacked by stone-throwers in the Negev between Be\'er Sheva and Arad... Soldiers near Kalkilye, near Ra\'anana, were attacked with firebombs and rocks; no one was hurt, and IDF soldiers returned fire with rubber bullets… Motorists were attacked with large rocks and tires were set ablaze on the Ma\'aleh Adumim road near Abu Dis; no reports of injuries...



Israeli forces apprehended a Hamas fugitive this morning in the Hevron area, as well as five Arabs who were trying to cross from Gaza into pre-1967 Israel last night near Kibbutz Nachal Oz. The Palestinian Authority, for its part, has arrested 150 PA residents in the past weeks on suspicion of cooperating with Israeli security agencies.



The IDF Spokesman strenuously denied this morning today\'s PA report alleging that Israeli forces shot and killed a PA officer. The IDF report said that no Israeli weapons were fired this morning in the area in question - southern Gaza near Kfar Darom. Israeli forces came under heavy Palestinian shooting all day yesterday in various Gaza locations.
