Supporters of Israel will rally in New York City and Los Angeles on Tuesday evening in solidarity with Israel in the face of the anti-Israel campaign that has followed the violent arrival of the "humanitarian" flotilla in the Mediterranean.

The police have requested a change of venue for the New York rally and it will be at the Turkish Mission to the UN, 821 First Avenue (46th and 1st) at 6:00 PM. The New York rally was to be held outside the Israeli Consulate, at 800 Second Avenue and 42nd Street. Hundreds are expected, waving American and Israeli flags and holding signs. Some of the signs being prepared read: "Peace Activists Don't Attack Soldiers," "Hamas and Al Qaeda Support the Flotilla," and "We Stand with Israel."

The Los Angeles rally will be held in front of the Turkish Consulate, 6300 Wilshire Boulevard, at 5:00 PM PST.

Participants are asked to bring Israeli and American flags. In Los Angeles, they will be provided with signs.StandWithUs, the ILC and the CIC are some of the groups involved. They will call for an international investigation of Turkey's role in sponsoring the violent "peace" activist flotilla.

Other organizers include StandWithUs and RAJE (Russian American Jewish Experience). RAJE Chairman Rabbi Mordechai Tokarsky said, "We will gather to stand united with the State of Israel, and to let President Obama and the world know that we will not sit silently as Israel is attacked by her enemies. We stand with Israel in their battle against terrorism."

"Israel has the right to stop terror at its door," the rabbi continued, "and we condemn the United Nations for standing with terrorists. These so-called peace activists used knives, clubs and fire from weapons stolen from soldiers, and attacked soldiers who were seeking to enforce international law.  The boats were warned to change course multiple times, and we as the American Jewish community will not stand silently as Israel is attacked."
