A battle is raging near the N\'vei Dekalim industrial area between Israeli soldiers and Palestinians. It began when mortar shells hit the area, causing damage to one of the buildings.

The Sharon area (Herzliya-Netanya-Raanana) is under high alert following intelligence warnings of a possible terrorist infiltration from Kalkilye… A car from Kiryat Arba was shot at south of Gush Etzion late this morning; the driver was unhurt… Last night, two terrorists were shot and killed in the Gaza area: one as he attempted to cross the Green Line from northern Gaza, apparently on his way to a suicide attack, and the other as he approached an IDF tank on the Karni-Netzarim road… Heavy shooting resumed on Jerusalem\'s southern neighborhood of Gilo from Beit Jala last night; homes there were damaged. A Border Guard base near Bethlehem was also attacked. Defense Minister Binyamin Ben-Eliezer warned that if the shooting continues, Israel will once again enter Beit Jala… Terrorists opened fire at the entrance to Chomesh, in northern Shomron.
