Yom Haatzmaut, Israel's Independence Day, which was marked this year was a special day for the families of the thousands of Bnei Akiva graduates who attended the movement's Moshava camps in North America throughout the years and eventually immigrated to Israel. Bnei Akiva organized a special re-union event in the Neot Kedumim Nature Preserve near Modiin, the day was full of friendship, special events and of course lots of nostalgia.
Video of event produced by Bnei Akiva:
Dozens of American yeshiva students from all over Israel served as guides and supervisors. Shiurim (Torah lessons) were delivered throughout the day by well-known rabbis who were former Moshava campers. Ball games, competitions and special children's activities took place, in addition to nature walks and tours in the nature preserve. Participants say that It was a very exciting day for former campers, their children, grandchildren and, in some cases, even great- grandchildren.
The massive Machanot Moshava reunion celebrated the following milestones: Camp Moshava (East Coast) - 75th Anniversary (Indian Orchard, Beach Lake, Gelatt, Pocono Summit, Livingston Manor, Heightstown), Camp Moshava Wild Rose's - 72nd Anniversary, Camp Moshava Ennismore's (Canada) - 50th Anniversary and Camp Stone's - 40th Anniversary.

Many videos were produced especially for the event by Avraham Weiss and Safi Allman, Moshava alumni and Olim from Cananda.
