Arutz Sheva TV visited the central military cemetery at Mt. Herzl in Jerusalem on Israel’s National Memorial Day and met a number of groups who came to the site not only to honor the memory of the fallen but also to learn from the heroes and their heritage.
The groups stop by a selected list of graves and hear from their guides the stories behind the names – stories which are each one an important lesson of Zionism, Judaism, and Heroism. Arutz Sheva TV spoke with a rabbi who came with his students who are in the country for a year and a bus captain who led young boys and girls from Holocaust-related sites in Poland to Israel as part of “The March of the Living”.
