Toby Willig, past president of Emunah America and active member of the Emunah chapter in Jerusalem, spoke with Israel National Radio's Eli Stutz at this year's Jerusalem Conference.
Willig recounted how she recently sent an email to Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat, telling him that Jerusalem Day must be made into a much grander and more exciting national holiday. "Jerusalem represents the heart and soul of Israel, but also the heart and soul of the Jewish people," she explained. "That means the Temple Mount and all of the sacred places. It means identifying heart and soul with the city."
