The 2010 Winter Olympic Games have come to a close, but not before giving some nachas [Yiddish for 'satisfaction'] to a few Jewish mothers.

Two American Jews – Steve Meisler and Charlie White – claimed medals in the games. Meisler won a gold medal in the four-man bobsled race, and White took silver in ice dancing along with his partner, Meryl Davis.

American ice dancer Ben Agosto, also Jewish, placed fourth with partner Tanith Belbin.

Israeli brother-sister ice dancing duo Alexandra and Roman Zaretsky finished 10th, dancing to theme music from Schindler's List and the Israeli folk dance "Hava Nagila." In "Hava Nagila," Roman wore a yarmulke.

Israeli skier Mikail Renzhin finished 35th in the slalom and 55th in the giant slalom.

Laura Spector, a Jewish biathlete from Massachusetts, finished 65th and 77th in her races which combined cross-country skiing and target shooting.
