The Manufacturers Association of Israel is not only involved in the important task of representing the manufacturers and working to improve the Israeli economy through increasing produce and revenues, the Association is also deeply involved in education. The Ta'asiyeda organization (a combination between "ta'asiya" - industry, and yeda - knowledge) is part of the association and focuses on creating and directing the next generations of inventors, entrepreneurs, and manufacturers.
Arutz Sheva TV attended the conference of the Manufacturers Association and spoke with representatives of Ta'asiyeda about their projects, which include a nationwide inventor contest and an excellence and leadership program in memory of the first Israeli astronaut Ilan Ramon, who fell in the Columbia accident, and his son IAF Cadet Asaf Ramon, who was killed in a airborne accident.
