An unusual traveling exhibition by a watchdog organization reveals evidence of public corruption, from small-town mayors to government ministers. Ariella Golan of Ometz, the Hebrew word for “courage,” told Arutz 7 Sunday that the exhibition will do a circuit around the country after it closes down its current appearance in Tel Aviv.

The exhibition, under the slogan “Fed Up with Corruption,” includes letters, responses from the office of the government Comptroller and Ombudsman and articles concerning various scandals.

The display is divided into 11 different sections focusing on local mayors, Knesset Members, regional councils and other government bodies. One of the sections is devoted to Former Prime Minister Ehud Olmert.

Another section is filled with articles and court decisions on corruption and the struggle against it, which Golan said is the good news behind the scandals. Exposés by Ometz, investigative journalists and other government watchdogs have led to public inquiries and in some cases indictments.

She added that all of the scandals have been documented and that no libel suits are expected against the exhibition. Its next stop is Raanana, located immediately on the northern edge of the metropolitan Tel Aviv region, followed by Haifa.

Golan said that United Nations officials have expressed an interest in the display, which might even play overseas.
