As a response to the recent expressions from inside the IDF against expulsion of Jews from their homes - the raising of a banner during a military ceremony at the Western Wall and a sign held by soldiers on the roof of their base - many are discussing how these soldiers and the phenomenon should be dealt with. But MK Aryeh Eldad (NU) and other Knesset members proposed legislation which is aimed at dealing with the core of the problem – the fact that the IDF soldiers are given the role of taking part in expulsions.
