The Juniper Cobra joint exercise between the IDF and U.S. Army is taking place. The following video features a glimpse into some of the joint activity.
The joint exercise is being held this year for the fifth time and is the largest of its kind ever conducted in Israel. The exercise is intended to improve the coordination and cooperation between the two armies with the focus on air defense.
During the exercise, a limited number of U.S. troops is temporarily positioned near populated areas and will leaveIsrael at the end of the exercise.
