Three nationalist activists were detained for questioning Thursday evening after police accosted them near the home of Deputy Attorney General Shai Nitzan, in the Ramot neighborhood of Jerusalem.

Police said that the three were carrying a flammable substance and that they intended to set the place on fire, according to Arutz Sheva. The police also said the three carried posters which contained messages against Nitzan.

Last week, another young activist was arrested for allegedly threatening Nitzan.

B'Sheva reported that Elchanan Gruner was arrested after he knocked on the door of Nitzan's house late one night last week. He expressed his protest over the distancing order that had been issued to his brother Ariel, from Yitzhar.

He was arrested later that night and promptly brought before a judge, where he was charged with threats and trespassing. The judge, Ram Vinograd, released him under certain limitations and noted that the charge sheet does not support more than a charge of harassing and insulting a public servant.
