What is the State of Israel’s role in the lives of Jewish youths around the world? A convention at the Menachem Begin Heritage Center in Jerusalem tried to find out.
The seminar was organized by the Students Forum, an umbrella organization for the bodies dealing with Zionist education for Jewish youths internationally. The Forum is led by the World Zionist Organization’s Hagshamah (actualization) Department and the Jewish Agency’s Education Department.
Some 200 people took part in the gathering, which dealt with these and other topics: Educational Initiatives in the Jewish World, Zionist Activity Among Specific Population Sectors, How Youth Use the Internet, and Jewish Youth Involvement in Diplomatic Activity.
Among the participants and speakers were PR Minister Yuli Edelstein, Jewish Agency Chairman Natan Sharansky, MK Uri Orbach, Dr. Gadi Taub, and more.
