Former Chief Rabbi Ovadiah Yosef, leader of the Shas party, is scheduled to inform the Shas MKs today who will be the political leader of the party following the release of Aryeh Deri from prison two months from now. It is assumed that Rabbi Yosef will ask Interior Minister Eli Yeshai, who took over from Aryeh Deri when the latter began his prison term almost 15 months ago, to continue to lead the party.
