But David Saranga explained at last week's Twitter "140 Characters Conference" (#140conf) that he is doing just that. Saranga, the Consul for Media and Public Affairs at the Israeli Consulate in New York, is effectively transmitting a new image of Israel to the younger Twitter public in the 140-character limit imposed on every Twitter message.
