Jewish community outposts in Judea and Samaria are not the only ones facing demolitions -- Jerusalem police and municipal authorities handed out demolition notices on Sunday to Arab proprietors of illegal housing units in the capital.

Orders to flatten 65 units were distributed in various Arab districts, according to the Bethlehem-based Ma'an News Agency, a Judea and Samaria reporting service originally funded by the Danish and Dutch Representative Offices to the Palestinian Authority.

A 24-unit apartment building in Nusaiba, a 15-apartment structure in Beit Hanina, a 12-apartment building in Shuafat, a 12-room edifice also in Beit Hanina, and two buildings in Silwan will be leveled as well, according to the orders.

Ma'an reported that the owners of some of the buildings had previously received demolition notices for their buildings, but they had not yet been razed.
