While the Histadrut Labor Union continues to threaten to intensify nationwide strikes, representatives of the four economic sectors are meeting this morning in an attempt to set the guidelines for a yearlong package deal. The four are Finance Ministry Dir.-Gen. Ohad Marani, Histadrut Professional Wing head Shlomo Shani, Bank of Israel Research Department Chief Karnit Flug, and industrialist Yosi Rosenne. Meanwhile, strikes by university lecturers, customs workers, and others continue, although Labor Ministry employees announced some let-ups in their sanctions.
