IDF Quits Tul Karem

The army continues to maintain a tight closure on the PA-controlled city of Tul Karem, following the end last night of its month-long presence inside the city. The withdrawal of the IDF forces from Tul Karem, on the western tip of Shomron east of Netanya, took two days.

The withdrawal of the IDF forces from Tul Karem, on the western tip of Shomron east of Netanya, took two days. Arabs attacked the back-pedaling forces a number of times. The only PA-controlled areas in which the army now remains are those surrounding Jenin, in the northern Shomron.
