Armed Palestinian Authority police officers are driving about freely in the Binyamin region, located just north of Jerusalem, despite regulations stating that they must be accompanied by Israeli forces when operating anywhere near a Jewish town.
Video footage sent to Israel National News shows an unaccompanied PA military jeep driving freely on Friday near Jewish communities in the Binyamin region. Israeli officials later said the drive was authorized.
