Political experts Professor Paul Eidelberg, of the Foundation for Constitutional Democracy, and Rabbi David Bar-Hayim of the Machon Shilo Institute say Israel's electoral system is responsible for many of the problems facing the country. The system creates a situation where Members of Knesset are afraid to challenge the government, ministers are afraid to challenge the Prime Minister, and failed politicians manage to stay in power for many years.
