Rabbi Chaim Druckman, head of the Bnei Akiva yeshivas, recalled the group's past and praised its ability to overcome difficulties with a “revolution” that changed modern Israel. “It is hard to imagine the Land of Israel and the State of Israel without Bnei Akiva,” he said.
Former Bnei Akiva director Amnon Shapira looked to the movement's future and mentioned the next generation of Bnei Akiva leaders. “The current young generation of Bnei Akiva members is doing some things differently... but generally, they are doing it with the same youthful vitality, the same great potential,” he said.
