Rancher Yehuda Marmor, a third-generation Israeli farmer living in the Galilee, purchased his farm legally from the Jewish National Fund. However, that has not protected him from years of aggressive attempts to drive him away.
Marmor says the aggression has a single source – a local Bedouin clan that is convinced the land is theirs. “The Bedouin family wants one thing - to take over the territory,” he explains.

The aggressors have slashed his barbed-wire fence five times in five months, causing damage that will cost at least 100,000 shekels to repair, Marmor says. “I don't know how to face the costs,” he worries.
The violence has escalated beyond property damage as well. At one point, Marmor says, Bedouins tried to shoot him.
Marmor says he is not the first Jewish farmer in the Galilee to face such attacks. Many other Jewish farmers are the victims of similar aggression, he says.
In the above video, Marmor details the attacks on his farm and the lack of response from local law enforcement.
