
Avigdor Lieberman’s Yisrael Beiteinu (Israel is Our Home) party is still considering whom it will support to head the next government coalition. The party must choose between Likud party leader Binyamin Netanyahu or Kadima party leader Tzipi Livni.
Many estimate that Lieberman will eventually support the more hawkish Netanyahu, but he and his party members refrain from even hinting which party they will choose. Lieberman served as Bereau Chief for Netanyahu when the latter was prime minister.
Uzi Landau, a former Likud senior leader and today in the second place in Yisrael Beiteinu, spoke with IsraelNN TV’s Aharon Deutch about the post-election negotiations.
