Defense Minister Binyamin Ben-Eliezer announced a series of restriction-relaxations on Palestinian-controlled cities, in honor of the month of Ramadan that begins tonight. Arutz-7 correspondent Haggai Huberman reports that these include the opening of blockades and certain roads, more fishing rights on the Gaza coast, the increase of Palestinian goods permitted to be brought into Israel, and even the release of prisoners.

Yasser Arafat has already ordered the release of Islamic Jihad terrorist Mohammad Tawalbeh, who was arrested by PA police last night in Jenin. Tawalbeh is wanted by Israel for a series of deadly terrorist attacks, including organizing suicide bombings and shootings. The PA\'s arrest of Tawalbeh yesterday led to mass protests in Jenin, including violent confrontations with PA soldiers and Islamic Jihad supporters who came to free him from prison. Islamic Jihad threats to send suicide bombers into the Jenin police station were sounded.
