Likud, Kadima, and Labor are all gaining ground in the upcoming elections, according to a poll published Thursday in the Israel Today newspaper. The poll also showed that 69 percent of Israelis believe that Operation Cast Lead has been a success.

If elections were held today, Likud would receive 33 mandates, Kadima would receive 27, and Labor 15. The three major parties have been gaining ground since Operation Cast Lead began almost two weeks ago.

In this latest poll, the National Union party received 3 mandates. Significantly, the Jewish Home party did not pass the threshold of votes necessary to enter the Knesset.

In a Ma'agar Mohot poll published Wednesday for Channel 2, Likud received 32 mandates, Kadima 25 and Labor 17. In that poll the Jewish Home actually received 4 seats in the next Knesset while the National Union received only 2.

In addition, the Ma'agar Mohot poll asked respondents whether the IDF should continue fighting in Gaza, a question that was answered with a resounding "yes" by a majority of respondents: 70 percent of those who participated in the survey said yes, while only 20 percent said the government should declare a ceasefire.

Below are the results of Thursday's poll under 1, Wednesday's results under 2, and the current number of Knesset seats for each party under 3.
