'Katif Expellees Retaking Gaza'

Some soldiers now retaking Gaza are Gush Katif expellees, noted NU head Yaakov Katz. The NU toured the south and experienced a rocket attack.

Some of the IDF soldiers currently fighting in Gaza are former Gush Katif residents who were expelled from their homes in Gaza in 2005, National Union leader Yaakov 'Ketzaleh' Katz said Wednesday.

Members of the National Union's list for the upcoming elections toured southern Israel Wednesday and were in a meeting in the Be'er Sheva municipality when a 'Color Red' siren sounded, forcing the participants to head for the shelter.
