The IDF has released videos of soldiers in live action against terrorists in Gaza as the army encircles major Gaza cities and drives Hamas underground. The number of rockets fired on Israel on Tuesday dropped to 30, and terrorists did not stage any attacks from late Tuesday night until 8:30 a.m. Wednesday morning (1:30 a.m. EST), when one rocket was fired in the Eshkol region. It landed in an open area.

Soldiers confirmed intelligence information from several months ago that Hamas has built a virtual underground city of bunkers and tunnels. The Hamas army strategy has been to lure Israel soldiers into the tunnels for kidnapping operations. The tunnel entrances often are covered with toys and dolls.
Golani troops earlier this week narrowly escaped falling into the hands of terrorists, who began to drag a soldier into a tunnel before ground forces and helicopter cover helped rescue him.
