With elections approaching, supporters of the Geneva Initiative have put out a series of ads. But YESHA Council head Danny Dayan is challenging their legality.

Ads in support of the Geneva Initiative, an agreement reached between Israel's far left and the PLO, have been put up around the country. But Judea, Samaria and Gaza Council head Danny Dayan has taken issue with the content of the ads. It is not only the accuracy of the ads which Dayan is fighting against, but possible interference in electoral politics through stealth support of political parties. While this is not the first time the Geneva Initiative promoters have taken this action, this time Dayan intends to stop them before they can influence elections.
