Jewish National Front spokesman Ilan Hershfeld met with Israel National News to discuss party head Baruch Marzel and his recent merger with Rabbi Shalom Dov Wolpe. Hershfeld rejected charges that Rabbi Wolpe has made anti-Zionist remarks, saying, “He has done a tremendous amount of work for the land of Israel.”

Hershfeld also addressed Marzel's past unsuccessful attempts to enter Knesset. Many successful politicians were defeated multiple times before taking power, he pointed out.

Hershfeld discussed the Jewish Front's plans for dealing with a variety of issues, such as the economic crisis, the loss of Jewish values, a hostile Arab population and the possibility that other political parties will attempt to have Marzel and Rabbi Wolpe expelled from the Knesset.
