Ze\'ev Fishfeder, the security officer of the Shomron town of Bruchin, is recovering from an operation after Palestinian terrorists shot him yesterday. He told Arutz-7 today that he was driving along a narrow road when he began hearing shots: \"I at first did not realize that they were shooting at me, and I kept going, but then I saw them on my left - three or four of them, one of whom was shooting with a Kalachnikov and one with an M-16, I believe - and they continued shooting. Two bullets hit me in my leg, and then I began zig-zagging on the road. This is likely what saved me from further hits. Somehow I managed to straighten out, and then I opened the door, and shot in the air many times as a signal to the security forces around and also to deter the terrorists from chasing me...\"



Yesha Council leaders met today with Ministers Uzi Landau, Ruby Rivlin, Natan Sharansky, and Rehavam Ze\'evi. They expressed their disappointment with the fact that defense and security policies in Judea and Samaria have not changed since the new government took office.



Mustafa Mahmoud Massalmani was charged today in the Beit El Military Court with the murder of Binyamin and Talya Kahane. The two were shot and killed almost three months ago as they drove along the Jerusalem-Ofrah highway with their six children. Only one of the children was hurt. Massalmani was also charged with other shooting attacks. He belongs to the Tanzim-Force 17 terrorist cell that was discovered last week and that is responsible for the murder of eight Israelis in the past six months.



The security forces have arrested one of the Palestinian terrorists who shot and wounded Efrat resident Roni Diament. Diament was seriously wounded in the attack, which took place last month, but is now recovering. A senior officer said that Israel has solid information about other wanted terrorists in the region, but they have not yet been caught.
