Nof Tzion, a new neighborhood being built in Jabal Mukaber in eastern Jerusalem, is planned as a quality private neighborhood with gated security, parks, daycare centers, sports facilities, synagogues, a community center, a luxury hotel, and quality education.

The neighborhood will stand on land which used to be a part of Jabel Mukaber – the Arab neighborhood which spawned the terrorist who massacred eight youths in the Mercaz HaRav yeshiva last March.

Israel National TV's Hillel Maeir visited this budding "illegal settlement," as it is called in an anti-Israeli watchdog site, and understood why the name Nof Tzion – which means "view of Zion" – was chosen.
