Likud head Binyamin Netanyahu recently got the party's central committee to agree to change the rules governing Likud's primary elections. The changes seem geared to make it more difficult for Jewish Leadership faction head Moshe Feiglin and his supporters to win slots on the Likud party list.

Netanyahu changed the primary elections plan after campaigning had already begun. “As ridiculous as it sounds, he decided to change the rules after the game started,” Feiglin said.
Feiglin told the public to compare Netanyahu's candidates, some of them former members of Kadima and aides to senior Kadima officials, with his own supporters. “We see exactly who Netanyahu is trying to bring in, and who he is trying to push out,” he said.
Feiglin said he does not plan to challenge Netanyahu's changes to the Likud primaries rules, but rather will focus on his own campaign. “We're going to keep on going with those harder rules and win, with God's help,” he said.
