Seven Knesset members visited Hevron building and issued call to gov't not to evict residents before the elections
Seven Knesset members from different factions visited Peace House in Hevron Thursday and issued a joint call to the government not to make use of the short time before the elections to take "unilateral steps" to evict the residents of the building.
The visitors were from Likud, Kadima, UTJ, Shas and NU/NRP and they represent a larger group of 51 MKs who sent a letter to the Attorney General on Sunday in which they called on him to stop eviction proceedings against the Peace House residents.
MK Aryeh Eldad (NU/NRP) spoke to Israel National News TV in Hevron.
