The Almagor organization, which represents victims of terror, held a press conference Monday to announce its latest strategy in the struggle for victims' rights. With elections coming up, members of Almagor want to influence the candidates so that their causes will be promoted in the next Knesset. Among their other goals, the group intends to fight for preventing terrorist releases by Israel, either as goodwill gestures or in attempts to win concessions from various terror groups.

To achieve their goals Almagor has settled upon two methods. The first is to encourage terror victims in different parties, especially the Likud, to run in their parties' internal elections. The second is to create a completely new party running for the Knesset.
