Last week's Arab terrorist attack in Gilo, in which one elderly man was killed and a police officer wounded, has prompted National Union candidates for Jerusalem's city council to promise better security for the capital.

Aryeh King, one of the candidates, said that he is elected; he will work to deal with the illegal buildings by Arabs. He said residents of Jerusalem should have the feeling "that we are in a Jewish city and a Jewish capital."
