Palestinian terrorists continue to target the Jewish town of Beit El in Binyamin; Wednesday, for the second time this week, IDF forces killed one.

The latest incident occurred during the violent funeral procession held by Arabs near Ramallah for the terrorist who had been killed the night before.  On Tuesday night, IDF forces shot at three terrorists who tried to throw a Molotov cocktail at homes on the western periphery of Beit El.  One Arab was killed, and two got away, although they were reportedly wounded.

On Wednesday, dozens of Arabs burnt tires throughout the day outside Beit El and threw rocks and bottles at IDF forces.  At one point, forces clearly identified a full bottle stopped up by a burning rag - designed to catch fire when shattered after being thrown at a Jewish target - and opened fire.  The terrorist was killed on the spot.

In addition, in recent days and weeks, Arabs have similarly attacked Beit El homes, causing fire damage on at least one occasion.

Ten days ago, IDF forces shot and seriously wounded two terrorists in the course of perpetrating a similar attack on Beit El.  The western Beit El neighborhoods of Nof and David are the main targets of the Arab attacks.

Elsewhere in Judea and Samaria, a joint IDF and General Security Service (Shabak) operation in a refugee slum south of Jenin netted the arrests of a four-member Islamic Jihad terrorist cell.  Two bombs weighing a total of 20 kilograms were confiscated, and were detonated afterwards in a controlled explosion.

Three other wanted terrorists were also arrested during the night - in Abu Dis (between eastern Jerusalem and Bethlehem), Tel (southwest of Shechem), and Yatma (south of Shechem).

A 17-year-old from the Israeli-Arab city of Tul Karem, east of Netanya, was arrested after confessing to having stolen nine cars.
