A few hours after the failed terror attack over the weekend in the Samarian town of Yitzhar, residents of the community together with many who came to support and strengthen rejoiced together in an after Shabbat celebration.
The event was organized by the Shomron regional council, the committee of Shomron residents, and the Beit Yitzhar organization. It was attended by Rabbis, public figures, Shomron residents and others who came to express solidarity.
"We have two demands,” explained Benny Katzover, chairman of the Committee of Shomron Residents. ”The Prime Minister must apologize for the media pogrom he instigated against Yitzhar, and by doing so inspired the terrorist who attempted to attack today. Secondly, we demand, as opposed to the existing compensation and evacuation law, the same sort of law against the rioting Arabs."
